The Role
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our growing team and help craft intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences across multiple products and projects.
As a UI/UX Designer at Ubiwhere, you will work closely with designers, developers, project managers, and product teams to transform complex requirements into elegant, user-centred solutions that deliver real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Work across multiple projects at pace, balancing craft, efficiency, and real product impact
- Gather and assess user and business requirements in close collaboration with Product Managers, Project Managers, Designers, and Developers
- Translate ideas into storyboards, user flows, journeys, and site maps that ensure seamless end-to-end experiences
- Design visually appealing and consistent interfaces, with strong attention to detail, accessibility, and brand alignment
- Build wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate functionality and visual direction
- Identify and solve UX challenges, implementing improvements that enhance clarity, usability, and user satisfaction
- Turn user feedback into meaningful design iterations, continuously refining experiences based on real needs
- Create and maintain design documentation such as style guides, component specifications, and UX/UI guidelines
- Support the evolution and maintenance of the company’s internal Design System, enabling teams to ship consistent experiences at scale
- Support the Communications and Marketing team with graphic assets and social media visuals when required
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a proven track record of shipping high-impact digital products
- A strong portfolio (required) demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and final outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools
- Solid understanding of Design Systems, component-based design, and scalable UI patterns
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, translating insights into user-centred design solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence in presenting and defending design decisions
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring consistency across platforms, browsers, and devices

- Experience capturing and editing video content for company communications or product/project promotional materials
