About the Internship
Lendsqr is offering an internship opportunity for students and recent graduates who are interested in developing professional experience in the fintech industry.
Successful interns may be assigned to different teams depending on their educational background, interests, and the needs of the company.
Possible teams include:
- Product Management
- Product Support
- Marketing
- Engineering
- Growth
- Finance
The internship can last up to 6 months for summer/SIWES interns and up to 1 year for graduate interns.
Lendsqr currently works remotely but states that it can only employ people who are resident in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Depending on the team you are assigned to, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teams that work with customers, partners, software, and internal systems.
- Assisting with troubleshooting and providing technical support.
- Organising and maintaining company resources.
- Supporting activities related to cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data centre management.
- Assisting team members with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Learning and contributing to projects within your assigned department.
Requirements
To be considered for the internship, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be a SIWES student or recent university graduate.
- Have a minimum 2:1 degree classification.
- Be 23 years old or younger as of your last birthday.
- Have a strong interest in fintech and financial technology.
- Demonstrate curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Have an interest in developing a career in the fintech industry.
- Recent graduates with or without NYSC experience may apply.
