The Role
We are seeking experienced Product Design/UX Experts to participate in a research-driven product design project for one of the world’s leading AI companies.
This role will rely on your professional background to guide product decisions, design preferences, user journey insights, and overall digital taste evaluation.
This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work on your own schedule while collaborating with AI researchers on next-generation model training and design taste assessment.
What you’ll do
- Create product mockups and UI design samples using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe tools
- Provide expert feedback on user experience and user journeys
- Make design decisions based on professional product taste and usability standards
- Build high-quality, practical mockups that go beyond aesthetic appeal
- Contribute to improving AI product design judgment and preference systems
- Support fast UI iterations and structured UX reviews

What we’re looking for
Ideal candidates should have:
- 3+ years of experience at a prestigious tech company
- A portfolio showing product mockups and UX feedback on shipped digital products
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe design tools
- Ability to create responsive product mockups
- Strong background in user journey and UX evaluation
- Based in the US, UK, or Canada
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Contract Details
- You will work as an Independent Contractor
- Minimum commitment: 15 hours per week
- Project duration: 3 – 4 weeks, with possible extension or early conclusion
- Weekly payments through Stripe or Wise
- Mercor cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
